Gentle Self-Care and Body Rejuvenation for Tango Dancers with Jennifer Jaymes

We’ll look at the most used parts of our body in tango and give them some love! I’ll show you ways to incorporate strengthening and stretching into a daily practice so we can show up for ourselves on and off the dance floor.

November’s very special evening Milonga Yo Soy El Tango is a Masquerade in the Olympia Ballroom!

We’re transporting you to another world ….one where you can be anyone you want to be on the dance floor! There will be live music with Ben Thomas, a jaw-dropping performance by Olivia and Fernando and so many photo ops, you won’t know where to look first.

This practica is a special Wednesday night “Meet and Greet” celebrating the arrival of Maestros Olivia Teixeira and Fernando Lima!

*We’re forgoing or usual 1st Wednesday of the month practica * No practica on Wednesday, November 6th!

Instead, join us from 6:30 - 7:30 for our first workshop with Olivia and Fernando- “Drama, Drama, Drama! An Introduction to the Dramatic Quality and using the Abstract!”

No partner needed for the class. Some experience with tango is encouraged for the class but not required.

An open practica will taken place from 7:30 - 9:30 pm with a demo from Olivia and Fernando at 8pm. No experience or partner necesssary for the practica. This is a great time to check it out if you are a beginner!

Light refreshments will be served but you are welcome to bring food potluck style.
