September’s DJ is Seattle’s up and coming Barry Hashimoto. Specially requested by Lya herself, Barry is coming down to party with us and it’s going to be a banger. On top of Barry’s fresh selection of traditional tango music, there will be showcases by Lya, Chino and Jennifer- we’re bringing the feeling of Buenos Aires to you! Don’t miss this afternoon of fun, friendship, and tango magic.

August’s DJ is your very own Jennifer Jaymes from World Embrace Tango. She’s put together an afternoon of traditional hits with sizzling summer cortinas sure to keep you summer hot in the best ways possible. Remember, the ballroom has AC!

There will be some non-alcoholic and light refreshments provided by World Embrace Tango; snack bar and non-alcoholic drink potluck is encouraged- go ahead and bring something light and easily shared if you feel inspired.

World Embrace Tango is collaborating with OlyDance to bring you a seasonal treat and nothing says summer like outdoor music and cocktails on a rooftop deck! Want to add some tango to the mix? Let’s do it, Olympia!

We’ll beckon in the season, manifesting ultimate summer vibes with our Live Orchestra Yo Soy El Tango Summer Bash on Sunday, June 2nd from 4-7 PM at 23 Kitchens! No pickleball rackets needed, just bring your tango shoes. We’ll dance the afternoon -live- to the Ben Thomas Orchestra.

$25 gets you in the door and dancing on the fabulous rooftop space. You’ll have access to a full bar and 23 Kitchen’s complete food menu.

Are you interested in learning Milonga? OlyDance hosts Jennifer Jaymes and guest instructor Luis Perez as they continue their “Milonga! The Rhythmic Side of Tango” series this May with a beginner milonga class on Friday, May 31st from 7-8pm, located at the 3rd floor of the Olympia Eagles.
